Portraits and a Pandemic?

I feel strongly that a rainbow does follow a storm. I’m hopeful and know that my business has a strong foundation with many great clients and I’m ready to weather the storm with you all. All of my decisions in the coming weeks will be based first and foremost on the safety of my clients using information including CDC guidelines and current legal rules that apply to non-essential businesses. In these uncertain times I have decided to temporarily change my booking process. Please take a minute and read through these updates. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I’m here for you during these challenging times.

CURRENT BOOKINGS - I am working with currently booked clients on a case by case basis on how best to proceed for their needs based on their shoot date, CDC guidelines, and current legal rules that apply to non-essential businesses.

NEW SESSIONS - For all new sessions booked during the pandemic I am moving to a reservation system that does not require a retainer. Let’s get you scheduled in a way that allows for flexibility for health and safety as well as finances. You are able to reserve without a payment, or pre-purchase a discounted gift card that may be used on your session.

PAYMENT PLANS - I want you to book your session. If you are reluctant because you have been hurt financially by the current economic crisis created by the pandemic please reach out. I am happy to work with any clients that would like to set up a payment schedule.

GIFT CARDS - The most exciting part of this new process is the ability to purchase discounted gift cards. These gift cards are sold at 20% off their value. They do not expire. You have your choice to purchase a monetary amount to be applied to future portrait sessions. In addition a limited amount of 2019 priced sessions will also be available for purchase.

VIDEO GUIDED PHOTO SHOOTS - If you are at home social distancing but would like help and guidance photographing your baby or your bump, I am offering video sessions where I’ll give you tips and guidance to take better iPhone photos at home. These sessions last up to 30 minutes. I will help you find pretty light in your home, give posing suggestions, and iPhone shooting tips.
