Santa Sessions 2024

Our spaces have been beautifully styled for the holiday photos you’ve been dreaming of. Utilizing our private location and gorgeous grounds there is no concern of competing with other portrait sessions or crowded locations. This year we have four styled scenes so there is something for everyone. Mini sessions are limited to one scene with the option to extend your time in that scene or add a second scene. If you would like to shoot in all of the set ups please inquire about a full session. Take a minute and scroll through our gallery of images. We’ve provided some styling tips for your session as well. At the bottom of this page you can click through to book a mini session. What to Wear + Tips

  • Choose several complimenting colors and stick to them. Pick some of your hues that coordinate well together and stick to them. What are your family’s favorite colors? Don’t choose one color for the whole family - multiple colors will add dimension to your images.

  • Pick one or two patterns and go from there. Avoid dressing the whole family in patterns. A good idea is to choose one item, a dress for example, with a pattern containing the colors you love. Then choose colors from the item that you love for the other family members to wear.

  • Be comfortable. Make sure that everyone’s clothing fits properly and is weather appropriate. If you’re hot or cold during your session it’s less likely that you’ll appear happy and relaxed in your photos. This is especially true for children. If you feel good in your clothes it shows!

  • For colder weather sessions it’s great to put those kiddos in layers. Long underwear under pants or sweaters can be helpful to keep everyone warm. This works for adults too. Just make sure you’re still comfy and not feeling bulky.

  • When in doubt about outfits lay out the options on a bed and text me a photo. I’m happy to help!

Mini Session Details

To keep everything simple this year we have two options. First is a standard 15 minute mini session in one spot on the farm. This means you can pick one of our areas, indoors, greenhouse, tree farm, or the grounds for example. The second option is a 25 minute session that you can use the additional time in your favorite location or split your time between two spots. So you could pick the Greenhouse and the Tree Farm, or the Tree Farm and the Black Greenhouse Buffalo Check or just keep it simple and use all of your time at one spot. 

Please arrive 5 minutes early for your session and be photo ready. Mini session days keep moving with everyone scheduled in back to back appointment with a small time buffers in between so punctuality is important. Typically I’m VERY flexible with arrivals but on mini session days to keep things flowing these arrival times are important.

Santa Session Details

As you arrive you'll be picked up on a festive golf cart for our journey to find Santa. (There is room for 4-5 on the golf cart and some adults may need to walk) Along the way we'll pass multiple holiday styled vignettes including our Christmas Tree Farm and big red barn. I also heard snow is forcasted! Once we get to the greenhouse you'll find Santa waiting for you.

These private moments with Santa will be special. You'll be able to visit and chat and talk about your Christmas wish list. Santa even brings his lists and he'll check them twice. If you're really good he'll make sure to write your name on the nice list! During this time we'll take a mix of posed and candid shots as you enjoy Santa's company. When we're done we'll hop on the golf cart and you can wave goodbye to Santa.

Lastly we'll stop at the Christmas tree area so each of the kiddos can pick a special present that's been left there just for them.

The cost is $225 and includes gallery with 25+ images with a mix of posed and candid images.
